Black Ops 1 Zombies (BO1Z)
A community-hosted Zombies map selector. Earlier testing reached map selection and loading, but a complete playable round was not confirmed. Third-party embedding fails due to browser isolation requirements.
BROWSER GAME FIELD GUIDE / OCT 2026
Searching for Call of Duty you can play online in a browser? Here are the actual community Zombies links, what we have (and have not) verified, and the official free-to-play alternative.

Source links ≠ verified playable sessions.
THE SHORT ANSWER
Some fan-made Call of Duty Zombies projects have browser links, but that is not the same as an official browser version of Call of Duty. In particular, the BO1Z source previously displayed a map selector, while its game engine could not be made to work inside our iframe. We have not verified a full match or survival round. These sites can be removed, blocked or changed without notice.
For an official free-to-play Call of Duty experience, visit Call of Duty: Warzone and choose a supported platform; it requires installation rather than running inside this page.
DIRECTORY / ORIGINAL HOSTS
Choose the exact project you want. Each outbound button goes to its independently operated host, not a game hosted on RadiantOptimizer.
A community-hosted Zombies map selector. Earlier testing reached map selection and loading, but a complete playable round was not confirmed. Third-party embedding fails due to browser isolation requirements.
A Moon-themed community page. Availability, loading and gameplay have not been verified in this review.
A separate Kino-named browser project; it is not an official Call of Duty release. Check the host's current notice before starting.
A browser-hosted fan project based on the Cheese Cube Zombies concept. Do not assume multiplayer or working gameplay until the source confirms it.
Link check, 12 October 2026: all four source URLs returned HTTP 200 in a basic request. This confirms only that the web addresses responded at the time, not that their games launched, ran correctly, were licensed or are still available now. Recheck the host before relying on it.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT WAY TO PLAY
People use “Call of Duty browser” to mean different things: the fan-made BO1 Zombies browser launcher, an official free Call of Duty game, or a game that plays instantly in a tab. These options are not interchangeable. This comparison explains where each one actually runs.
| What you want | Where it runs | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| BO1 Zombies community project | Third-party desktop web page | Browser map selector and download/loading flow; actual gameplay not independently confirmed by this guide |
| Official Call of Duty: Warzone | Supported PC or console installation | Official free-to-play Call of Duty; not an instant browser game |
| Official Call of Duty: Mobile | Supported Android or iOS app | Mobile-native app, not a standard in-browser PC version |
| Other fan-made browser shooters | Depends on independent project | Different content, licenses, controls and reliability; do not assume they contain official COD assets |
Want the actual Black Ops maps rather than a general COD-style shooter? See the BO1 browser map-selector guide for the ten names listed during our 10 October source review.
BEFORE YOU PLAY
Use one of the direct project links above. Confirm the destination matches the project name; avoid lookalike download sites.
Look for removal notices or browser requirements. Use a current desktop browser with hardware acceleration and a mouse.
If a frame or black screen fails, open the original host in a new tab. Do not disable security settings or install unknown extensions.
First, distinguish an inaccessible website from a failed game engine. A page that returns HTTP 200 may still be unable to load 3D graphics, audio or large map assets. Our BO1 source review on 10 October found that its Kino start screen advertised roughly 330.5 MB of additional map data; a progress screen is not a completed game session.
Black screen or “Unsupported Browser”: update your desktop browser and check that hardware acceleration is enabled. The BO1 map engine also relies on shared memory and cross-origin isolation. Some embedded iframes cannot supply that environment, even when the original host opens directly. Try the source in its own tab rather than weakening browser protections.
Very long download: give the source time to fetch its game resources and avoid refreshing during a normal progress update. If the page reports a takedown or removal, do not hunt for unverified mirrors.
Phone or Chromebook: a menu appearing on mobile is not evidence the game supports touch controls. Desktop keyboard and mouse remain the safest expectation; WebGL-capable Chromebooks may vary by hardware and memory. No mobile gameplay was verified for these four sources.
The browser project directory also has a dedicated Black Ops 1 Zombies browser guide, with map selection, loading observations and detailed limitations. Browse all 25 listed game projects for alternatives.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Answers that distinguish a fan project, a free official game, and a genuinely browser-playable session.
There is no confirmed official, full Call of Duty PC game that runs directly in a standard web browser. Some independent Zombies-inspired projects have browser entry points, but their availability and functionality can change.
No. BO1Z and the other linked community pages are not official Activision or Treyarch releases.
A fan host may be down, block embedded frames, require WebGL or browser memory-isolation features, or be loading large assets. Open the original source directly, use a current desktop browser and read its status notice.
Most community projects were designed for desktop mouse and keyboard. A Chromebook with WebGL support may work for certain games, but neither phone nor Chromebook compatibility has been confirmed here.
Warzone is an official free-to-play Call of Duty game, but its supported platforms involve installing the game. Free-to-play is not the same as playing in a browser.
Community projects are not official releases, and their rights and availability can change. Do not download unknown launchers, disable browser security, or provide copyrighted game files you do not have the rights to use.
